The CORE houses information about your institution and makes it available to all the modules you've selected. The CORE is a powerful tool which contains information about your department hierarchy, the physical properties of your institution, your personnel, agreements, assurances, and other details about your institution. The reporting function in the CORE easily creates organization charts and department maps, determines square footage of space, (anything else?) all from the details you've entered to support you research activities.

The CORE platform is written utilizing Java and is the basis for our Service Oriented Architecture approach. Because the CORE is critical to our success, it's exhaustively tested before each release to assure that our modules perform as designed.

• Profile Management

Profiles can be created in great detail and that information can be shared with colleagues and research institutions world wide. Store information related to appointments, training, accomplishments, degrees, publications, and much more so that your skills are brought to bear on research efforts.  The amount of information shared and with whom is controlled by the administrators of your MŌDERAS solution. Information can be limited to your institution, specific affiliated institutions, or everyone. MŌDERAS has relationships with other vendors who provide profile information and your local profiles can be published to those services as well.
